Micavery Map (Ariadne Cycle)

I created the map of Micavery for my Ariadne Cycle series. This was the first town in the generation ship called Forever, and by the second book, The Rising Tide, it has grown into a small city. It’s so fun to see these places come to life. Originally hand-drafted, then scanned into Photoshop for the final map creation.

Redemption City (Redemption Cycle)

This is the first of several maps I did for the Redemption Cycle. This one’s the city of Redemption, which is inside a lava tube on the moon. (a possibility they are discussing now for a possible lunar colony). Hand drawn, then imported into Photoshop – where I managed to make it look a little less phallic. * grin *

Martinez Base (Redemption Cycle)

I don’t have the original for this one – I may have done it from scratch in Photoshop, as it was based off the actual map for Martinez, California. This marks the place the Dropnauts team landed in their quest to bring humanity back down to Earth.

Gullton (Tharassas Cycle)

This is the first map I created for the Tharassas Cycle – the town of Gullton. formerly Gullyton. I love doing maps of unusual places. This one, like most of my maps, started as a hand sketch so I could keep track of where the action was taking place. When I was ready to finalize it, I imported it into Photoshop and hand drew most of it.

Siren (J.C. Owens)

This is my first true map commission, created for my friend JC Owens. It was created from a photo of a whiteboard drawing from the author, and then dressed up with clip art and brushes from RPG Maps Forge. I exported the final in four forms – color and b/w scroll versions, and color and b/w simple versions. It was a joy to bring this world to life for this author friend of mine.
